ANAIS - The Guilt Gift Puppetry

Offering "guilt gifts" is yet another method used by abusive partners to convince domestic violence victims not to leave toxic relationships. We wanted to sound an alarm on this growing phenomenon, so we transformed toys belonging to real victims into puppets and created an experimental puppetry show consisting of 8 short plays depicting true cases of domestic abuse. The stories shed light on the disastrous effect of "guilt gifts" in victims' lives and urge any witness or sufferer to break the silence and ask for help.
